Kyrgyz President signs decree awarding country’s medical workers with state awards

Bishkek, July 3, 2020. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov has signed on Friday a decree awarding number of medical workers of the country with state awards, his press service reported. A list of doctors – recipients of state awards for contribution to the fight against COVID-19 coronavirus infection, ensuring health protection and sanitary-epidemiological well-being of the population is available at the www.president.kg presidential website. The state awards is also timed to coincide with the Medical Worker Day in the Kyrgyz Republic. Kyrgyzstan registered on Friday 506 new cases of coronavirus infection, raising the total number of infections to 6,767; 994 of which are cases of medical workers’ contamination. A total of 2,655 patients have recovered, including 484 medics. Death toll has reached 76.
