PRESS CONFERENCE ON RESULTS OF CONFERENCE OF HEADS OF OIC LAW-ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES HELD IN BAKU
Baku, April 22 (AzerTAc). Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov and Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs of the Organization of the Islamic Conference Ezzat Kamel Mufti, gave a joint press conference dealing with the results of the conference of heads of law-enforcement agencies from OIC member countries.
Khalafov noted the conference would contribute to fight against organized crime, international terrorism, extremism, aggressive separatism, illegal circulation of drugs, weapons, trafficking in human beings, illegal migration, financing of terrorism and corruption.
Deputy Minister noted Iranian delegation proposed to set up the Coordination Center of the OIC Law Enforcement Agencies.
Ezzat Kamel Mufti thanked Azerbaijan government for good organization of event. He described the conference as the first step towards joint fight against crime. OIC official noted the conference would help coordinate the activity of OIC members.
