AZERBAIJAN WISHES EXPANDING COOPERATION AMONG OIC MEMBER STATES, PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV
Baku, 22 April (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan wishes expanding cooperation among OIC member states and further strengthening Islamic solidarity, said President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at a meeting with participants of the Baku conference of heads of law-enforcement agencies of Organization of Islamic Conference`s (OIC) member states on Tuesday.
The Azerbaijani leader pointed out OIC member states must support each other within all international organizations.
President Aliyev said his country is playing active role in developing cooperation among OIC members, adding “necessary steps must be undertaken to further strengthen Islamic solidarity”.
