Another coronavirus-related death registered in Kyrgyzstan, 23 in total

Bishkek, June 8, 2020. /Kabar/. 67-year-old resident of Naryn Oblast died of a COVID-19 coronavirus infection, Kyrgyzstan's Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev told Monday. "She was at home and did not go to the doctors for treatment. But then she made a complaint about her poor condition. On June 5 she was placed in hospital. Her condition worsened. On June 7 the deterioration progressed, we connected the oxygen. Despite the treatment, the woman died," he said. Ussenbayev explained the woman developed a severe form of illness, which turned into double pneumonia. "She also had a high degree of anemia and hypertension," he said. Thus, Kyrgyzstan's death toll from novel coronavirus has reached 23. The country confirmed on Monday 25 more cases of COVID-19, raising total to 2,032, including 400 cases among medical workers. 1,445 citizens of Kyrgyzstan have cured and been discharged from hospitals, 282 of them are medics.
