Thailand Reports Two New Covid-19 Cases, One More Death

BANGKOK, May 25 (TNA) – Thailand reported two new coronavirus patients, raising the total cases to 3,042 and one more death. Spokesman of the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration, Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin said the new case is a 46-year-old Chinese woman, the wife of a previous Italian patient in Phuket. She tested positive to coronavirus without showing any symptoms. The other case is a 55-year-old Thai masseuse, who returned from Russia and has been placed under state quarantine. The new death toll is a 68-year-old woman with pre-existing underlying conditions. She had close contact with a previous patient and was treated at a hospital in Chumphon. The total death toll was raised to 57 cases. Seven more patients recovered, bringing the total recovery cases to 2,928. Fifty-seven cases are being in hospitals. (TNA)
