AZERBAIJANI AMBASSADOR PRESENTS HIS CREDENTIALS TO QUEEN OF DENMARK
Baku, April 21 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani ambassador to the UK Fakhraddin Gurbanov who was also appointed an ambassador Denmark presented his credentials to Queen of Denmark Margrethe II
The ambassador briefed the Queen on the processes in Azerbaijan and ongoing reforms in the country. Gurbanov also told of the grave consequences of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.
Discussions also revolved around Azerbaijan-Denmark relations. The sides stressed the need to expand relationship between the two nations. Danish companies` increasing interest in the Azerbaijani economy was stressed at the meeting.
During the visit, Gurbanov also met top officials of the Denmark`s Foreign Ministry to discuss bilateral ties.
