‘ESTABLISHMENT OF RUSSIA`S AZERBAIJANI YOUTH ORGANIZATION AN IMPORTANT EVENT FOR BOTH RUSSIA AND AZERBAIJAN’
Baku, April 20 (AzerTAc). The establishment of Russia`s Azerbaijani Youth Organization (RAYO) is an important event for both Russia and Azerbaijan, said Ramil Hasanov, chairman of New Azerbaijan Party`s (YAP) Youth Movement.
According to Hasanov, Head of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s office in Moscow Leyla Aliyeva has great role in setting up RAYO.
Hasanov stressed the importance of RAYO pointing to the fact that the Organization`s inaugural conference brought together 300 representatives from Azerbaijani youth clubs and initiative groups from 60 regions from across Russia as well as Azerbaijani and Russian officials.
“We support and welcome the step taken to establish such an organization. We also believe that RAYO and YAP Youth Movement will establish close cooperation in the future,” he noted.
Ramil Hasanov pointed out RAYO would contribute to strengthening unity among the Azerbaijani youth in Russia, increasing their involvement in Russia`s public and political life as well as developing historical relations between the two countries.
He also expressed confidence that RAYO would become the most active Diaspora organization in the years ahead.
