AZERBAIJAN`S EXPORTS TO LATVIA UP 30%
Baku, April 18 (AzerTAc). Visiting Latvian Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins said export from Azerbaijan to Latvia increased 30% whiled that from Latvia to Azerbaijan doubled.
Minister said Latvia is keen on cooperation with Azerbaijan in a variety of fields including tourism, banking sector, security equipment, food industry, production of dairy products. Latvian investment into the Azerbaijani economy comes to €200 mln.
Maris Riekstins expressed his confidence that close cooperation between the two nations will allow Azerbaijani businessmen to access European Union markets.
