Culin` Art satisfies tastebuds and style

Hanoi (VNA) - Connoisseurs in Hanoi are being treated to a memorable culinary
experience with a menu especially prepared to complement art works on display at the
Intercontinental Hanoi Westlake.

From April 17, Culin' Art, aims to satisfy the taste buds while also catching the
eye of the connoisseurs dining at the hotel's Milan Restaurant.

The hotel's executive chef, Eric Fettke, is preparing a designated menu featuring
his latest creations, which he hopes will please and surprise the connoisseurs'
appetites.

The mouth-watering dishes include char-grilled asparagus, fried Gnocchi, Parma
ham and pecorino zabaglione and octopus marinated with extra virgin olive oil.

Garlic, roasted peppers, black olives and red onions served on a lemon potato
salad; home-made hazelnut gnocchi with truffled ox tail ragout, baked eggplant
layered with mozzarella cheese, Parmaggiano and fresh tomato sauce, seafood
risotto topped with poached lobster and grilled scallops will appeal to others.

While enjoying the culinary creations, connoisseurs can also inspect the
sculptures on display at the restaurant.

Some 23 works by French artist Lolo Zazar and Vietnamese sculptors Nguyen Ngoc
Lam, Khong Do Tuyen and Luong Van Viet, who graduated from the Vietnam Fine Arts
College, have turned the venue into an art space.

The French artist's works are image of women while the Vietnamese express their
feelings about the good and bad in life.

The Culi' Art runs until the end of the month at the Milan Restaurant in the
Intercontinental Hanoi Westlake, 1A Nghi Tam, Tay Ho district, Hanoi.-Enditem
