Budweiser launches 6v6 football qualifying in Vietnam

HCM City (VNA) - Beverage producer Budweiser, in coordination with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), launched its global six-a-side football drive, 6v6, in the country on April 16.

Sixty-four amateur football teams selected from a total of 500 squads across
Vietnam will compete in the qualifying round held in Ho Chi Minh City on April
16-17 and Hanoi , on April 18-19.

Two winners among 32 teams competing in the Hanoi qualifying round will play
against two qualifiers from the HCM City competition for places in the April
30 finals, where the best squad will be chosen for the Budweiser Cup international
tournament.

At the world tourney, scheduled to take place at the well-known Manchester
United's Old Trafford Stadium, Vietnam 's champions will meet strong rivals
coming from the UK , Argentina , South Africa and other countries.-Enditem
