Hanoi to host Vietnam Glory Programme
Hanoi (VNA) - The seventh Vietnam Glory Programme will be held at 20:15hrs in Hanoi on April 29, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Dinh The Huynh has revealed.
According to Huynh, who is also Editor-in-chief of daily Nhan Dan, this year's
programme will be televised live on the VTV1 channel and broadcast live on Radio
the Voice of Vietnam (VOV).
The programme will honour individuals and organizations found through writing
contests jointly held by Nhan Dan, Quan Doi Nhan Dan and Lao Dong (Labour) dailies.
The Vietnam Glory Programme 2009 will be jointly held by the Central Emulation and
Commendation Committee and Council; the Vietnam General Confederation of
Labourl Nhan Dan, Quan Doi Nhan Dan and Lao Dong newspapers; VOV, the Vietnam
Television (VTV) and the Asian Friendship Company.-Enditem
