UN COMMITTEE FOR PREVENTION OF CRIME AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE HOLDS SESSION IN VIENNA
Vienna, 17 April (AzerTAc). 18th session of the UN Committee for Prevention of Crime and Criminal Justice is underway in Vienna.
A delegation led by Azerbaijan`s permanent representative at the UN Vienna section, Ambassador Fuad Ismayilov, and comprising collaborators of the National Security and Internal Affairs ministries take part at the session.
The event organized by the UN Narcotics and Criminality Bureau will focus on economic crimes and the crimes connected with personality, reforms in punishment, legal aid in the criminal justice system and other questions.
Participants of session will have also to consider the issue of ratification by the member states of the UN Convention on combat against transnational organized crime and corruption and current state of its execution, as well as coordination of efforts of the member states in the mentioned field.
The session will end on 24 April.
