HEYDAR ALIYEV FOUNDATION PRESENTS BOOKS TO GEORGIA-AZERBAIJAN HUMANITARIAN UNIVERSITY
Tbilisi, April 16 (AzerTAc). The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has presented about 100 books to the library of the Georgia-Azerbaijan Humanitarian University after Heydar Aliyev in Marneuli city of Kvemo Kartli region, Georgia.
The books in Azerbaijani, Georgian, English and Russian languages deal with Azerbaijan-Georgian relations and consequences of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Speaking to a ceremony on the occasion, Ambassador Namig Aliyev praised the attention Azerbaijan`s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva pays to Azerbaijanis living in Georgia.
The Ambassador also thanked the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for the “valuable present”.
Rector of the university Novruz Bayramov thanked the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for the present, and praised Mehriban Aliyeva`s attention to problems of Azerbaijanis living in Georgia.
Following the ceremony, the Ambassador inspected the Heydar Aliyev foundation-funded reconstruction work at a mosque in Alget village.
