“AMERICA THROUGH MY EYES” EXHIBITION OPENED IN BAKU
Baku, April 15 (AzerTAc). Exhibition entitled “America through my eyes” of works by young students of Azerbaijan State Academy of Arts was held in Baku.
More than 100 works were presented in the exhibition organized by Academy of Arts, Ministry of Education and US Embassy to Azerbaijan.
"Art is one of the best ways of understanding between our nations," U.S. ambassador to Azerbaijan Anne Derse said.
The Ambassador welcomed works by the young painters and awarded prizes to winners.
The top student artists were awarded with cash prizes and video cameras. Islam Hasanzade received the top prize for his work “Freedom Nest”.
Three top winners and six runners-up were selected by jury.
