Indonesian embassy promotes friendship with Vietnam
Hanoi (VNA) - The Indonesian embassy in Hanoi held a friendship meeting on April 15, inviting former Vietnamese ambassadors and students and workers who used to work and study in Indonesia .
Addressing the meeting, the Indonesian ambassador to Vietnam said the meeting
aims to strengthen the exchange between the two countries not only at central but
also grassroot levels.
He highlighted Vietnam and Indonesia 's traditional cooperation and
friendship and their mutual assistance at regional and international forums.
Indonesia wants to boost cultural exchanges with every region of Vietnam so
as to strengthen the two peoples' mutual understanding, he added.
The embassy also unveiled plans to teach Indonesian language for local
