PM ratifies foreign aid-financed projects
Hanoi (VNA) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on April 14 approved a 3 million USD project to clear unexploded mines and ordnances in the central province of Quang Binh .
Phase III of the project is funded by the UK non-governmental organisation Mines
Advisory Group (MAG).
The same day, PM Dung gave the go-ahead to a project designed to improve health
care services in northern central provinces with funding sourced from the
World Bank.
The project aims to upgrade facilities, train personnel and provide equipment for
district-level and provincial hospitals in the targeted provinces, as well as to
offer the local people, particularly the poor, easier access to quality health
care services.
Accordingly, part of the loan will be used to purchase health insurance cards and
support indirect expenses for poor patients.-Enditem
