PROSPECTS FOR POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC RELATIONS BETWEEN AZERBAIJAN AND LATVIA TO BE DISCUSSED
Baku, April 15 (AzerTAc). Latvian Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins will be visiting Azerbaijan on April 16-17.
On the first day of the visit, the Latvian Minister will meet with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov, Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev, Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov and other officials.
They will discuss prospects for political and economic relations between the two countries, the agenda of the intergovernmental comission`s next meeting and the upcoming visit of Latvian President Valdis Zatlers to Azerbaijan.
As part of the trip, the Latvian Minister will attend Azerbaijan-Latvia business forum. He will also visit the Alley of Honors and the Alley of Martyrs to pay tribute to national leader Heydar Aliyev and the courageous sons of Azerbaijan who fell for freedom of Motherland.
