PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES CREDENTIALS OF SAUDI ARABIA`S AMBASSADOR

Baku, April 15 (AzerTAc). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today accepted credentials of newly appointed ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Fahd bin Ali al-Dusari.
Ambassador conveyed to Azerbaijani leader greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King of Saudi Arabia Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz. He said he is honored to become an ambassador in Azerbaijan. He pledged to spare no efforts to strengthen bilateral ties during his tenure.
The Head of State stressed that bilateral ties between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia are developing successfully in a variety of fields. President Ilham Aliyev recalled his meetings with Saudi King, stressing they are important for solidifying bilateral ties. The Head of State emphasized that both countries continue to support each other`s positions within international organizations. President Ilham Aliyev wished every success to the ambassador. Azerbaijani President expressed hope that the new ambassador would try his best to expand bilateral relationship.
The Head of State asked ambassador to pass on his greetings to the King of Saudi Arabia.
