AZERI NGOs REPRESENTATIVES ATTEND SEMINAR IN ANKARA
Ankara, April 13 (AzerTAc). Chairman of the Council of State Support for NGOs under the President of Azerbaijan Republic, MP Azay Guliyev and his accompanying delegation attended a seminar entitled “The impact of opening of the Turkish-Armenian border on relationship between Turkey and Azerbaijan”. The seminar was organized by the Turkish Center for International Relations and Strategic Research.
The event participants said amidst Armenian occupation of Azerbaijan`s 20 percent territories and territorial claims against Turkey, recent media reports on re-opening of the Turkish-Armenian border, caused a public concern and protest in Azerbaijan and Turkey.
According to them, Azerbaijan and Turkey have always helped each-other in their difficult times, and they should together fight against Armenian provocative acts.
As part of the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation will also meet with Turkish officials, leaders of political parties, MPs, and representatives of NGOs and journalists.
