Albania keen to boost cooperation with Iran
Athena, April 11, IRNA - The first vice-speaker of Albania's Parliament said his country is willing to foster economic cooperation with Iran.
He made the remarks in a meeting with Iran?s Ambassador to Tirana,
Albania, Ali Eqbal-Zarech.
He said the bilateral cooperation would be in the banking, energy and
agricultural fields as well as implementation of the infrastructural
projects.
He hoped the grounds would be prepared for developing economic,
parliamentary and political cooperation between Tehran and Tirana.
The Iranian ambassador, meanwhile, elaborated on the international and
regional developments and expressed the Iranian companies? readiness
to make joint ventures in infrastructural projects in the fields of
energy and agriculture.
Referring to Iran's special place in the world's energy market,
Eqbal-Zarech said the country is capable of playing a key role in
ensuring security in the energy area in Europe.
