FIRST AZERI FEMALE BOXER TO TEST HER STRENGTH IN INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT
Baku, April 11 (AzerTAc). For the first time, alongside with the national men`s team the Azerbaijani boxing federation will send a woman fighter to an international tournament which kicks off in Turkey next Wednesday. Aziza Abbasova, 18, will test her strength in the annual competition commemorating Ahmet Comert.
The men`s squad will include Elvin Mamishzade weighing in at 48 kg, Elvin Aliyev at 57 kg, Orkhan Agaliyev at 60 kg, Gismat Eynullayev at 60 kg, Romal Amanov at 64 kg, Umar Kolayev at 75 kg and Garib Orujov at 81 kg.
