ALL-RUSSIAN CONGRESS OF AZERBAIJANIS EXPRESSES CONCERN OVER MEDIA REPORTS ON REOPENING OF TURKISH-ARMENIAN BORDER
Baku, April 10 (AzerTAc). All-Russian Congress of Azerbaijanis expressed concern over media reports on opening of borders between Turkey and Armenia.
Executive director of the Congress Eldar Guliyev said “possible opening of the border will damage fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey.”
“Armenia still continues the occupation of 20 percent of Azerbaijan`s territory. Turkey has always supported the efforts by Azerbaijan to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict peacefully. We hope that intelligence and realities will dominate political ambitions in the question of re-opening the border,” Eldar Guliyev noted.
