TURKEY-SUDAN JOINT ECONOMIC COMMITTEE MEETINGS CONCLUDED IN ANKARA
ANKARA (A.A) - 10.04.2009 - Week-long meetings of Turkey-Sudan Joint Economic Committee concluded on Friday in the Turkish capital, Ankara, with sides agreeing on a number of cooperation areas including foreign trade, customs, transportation, as well as banking and finance.
The two countries also reached an accord to sign a free trade agreement and they decided to set up a joint commercial bank in Sudan.
Turkey also pledged to supply to Sudan railway vehicles and equipment.
