AZERI KARATE FIGHTERS CLAIM FOUR EUROPEAN MEDALS
Kiev, April 10 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani karate fighters have brought home four medals from the European championship in Kiev which brought together nearly 1000 athletes from 29 countries.
The only gold medal came from Munis Tahirov weighing in at 55 kg. Vagif Jafarov claimed silver in the 60kg weight category, while Sadig Hasanov weighing in at 65 kg and Etibar Mammadov at 70 kg won bronze.
