AZERBAIJAN, UKRAINE SIGN BILATERAL DOCUMENTS
Baku, April 9 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan and Ukraine have signed here several bilateral documents following the first meeting of the Council of the Azerbaijani and Ukrainian Presidents.
Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Viktor Yushchenko signed “The plan of action on the Azerbaijan-Ukraine cooperation for 2009-2010”.
Governor of Azerbaijan`s city of Ganja Eldar Azizov and head of the State administration of Ukraine`s Volynsk region Nikolay Romanyuk signed an agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation between the Government of Ganja and State administration of Volynsk.
Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Ukraine`s acting Foreign Minister Vladimir Khandogiy signed a 2009-2010 plan of action to conduct consultations on topical issues concerning bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
Azerbaijan`s Minister of National Security Eldar Mahmudov and chief of Ukraine`s Foreign Intelligence Service Nikolay Malomuzh signed an agreement on cooperation between the Azerbaijani Ministry of National Security and Ukrainian Foreign Intelligence Service.
Azerbaijan`s Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov and first deputy director general of Ukraine`s National Space Agency Valery Komarov signed a framework agreement on cooperation between the Azerbaijani Government and Ukraine`s Cabinet of Ministers on the peaceful uses and research of outer space.
Azerbaijan`s Defense Minister Safar Abiyev and Ukraine`s Defense Minister Yuri Yekhanurov signed a protocol between the Government of Azerbaijan and Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to make amendments to an agreement on military and technical cooperation between the Azerbaijani and Ukrainian governments.
