Nation sends sympathies to Italy

Hanoi (VNA) - President Nguyen Minh Triet on April 7 sent a message of condolence to
Italian President Giorgio Napolitano, over heavy human and property losses caused by
the earthquake on Monday in central Italy .

Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Le Dung said: "We are very shocked to hear the
news about the earthquake that caused huge damage to Italian people.
"We would like to send the State and the people of Italy , especially
families of the victims, our deepest sympathies and condolences."

"We believe that the Italian people will soon overcome the earthquake aftermath, and
recover and stabilise their lives."-Enditem
