Iran ready for talks with American oil companies: oil official

Iran is ready to talk with American oil companies on oil projects if
they accept Iran?s conditions, Deputy Oil Minister Hossein Noqrehkar
Shirazi said on Wednesday.

Addressing his first press conference in the new Iranian year, started
March 21, he added, ?The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) has never
deprived any US company. However, they were deprived by themselves.?

The Islamic Republic of Iran has currently no problem with the Western
world regarding its economic activities, he said, reiterating, ?If
Iran?s conditions and the country?s regulations on oil agreements are
accepted by various Western and Asian companies, Tehran is ready for
negotiations.?
