Qashqavi: Obama should prove his Iran policy in action

Tehran, April 7, IRNA

Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi said on Monday that it is
good that the US president had adopted a sound approach on Iran's
nuclear program at NATO meeting on Sunday but it is not sufficient and
he should prove his words in action.

US president did not mention the suspension of Iran's nuclear program
at the NATO summit on Sunday, he said.

Speaking to reporters in his weekly press conference, he said that
recent remarks by President Obama had various parts and only one part
focused on Iran's nuclear program and "We hope that his remarks would
be put to action through practical mechanism."

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in
his remarks in Mashhad clearly responded to President Obama's Norouz
message, he said, adding, "We hope that these remarks have been
translated properly and we observe a practical change in US stance."
