JUBILEE OF AZERBAIAJNI PIANIST TO BE MARKED IN CANADA
Baku, 7 April (AzerTAc). The Azerbaijani Embassy in Canada in partnership with Art Association of Azerbaijanis living in Canada will be supporting Days of Azerbaijani Culture in Canada with the 80th jubilee of popular Azerbaijani pianist Chingiz Sadikhov to be marked as part of the “Days”.
The first event within the bounds of the jubilee will feature opera singer Yusif Savalan with the Markham Theater for Performing Arts (Toronto) on May 1. The concert will bring together a lot Sadikhov’s fans living in Canada, India, Pakistan, Belgium, Iran and Azerbaijan. Also the jubilee events include programs “The Lunch with Maestro” and “The Azerbaijan ship” (a tour to the Canadian Thousand Islands).
