-TURKISH AGRICULTURE MINISTER DUE TO SUDAN

ANKARA (A.A) - 06.04.2009 - The Turkish agriculture minister will travel to Sudan on Monday evening.
Turkey's Agriculture & Rural Affairs Minister Mehmet Mehdi Eker would go to Sudan on Monday evening to participate in Turkish-Sudanese Joint Economic Committee (JEC) meeting, his office said.
Eker will also hold several talks and visit several institutions in Sudan.
The minister will meet members of Sudanese-Turkish Businessmen's Association on Tuesday, visit the Sudanese Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
Eker will also attend a dinner hosted in his honor by his Sudanese counterpart. 
The Turkish minister will meet Sudanese Vice President Ali Osman Taha, minister of international cooperation, minister of energy and mining, minister of foreign trade, minister of industry, minister of animal and resources, minister of finance and national economy, and  minister of investment.
Eker will participate in the signature ceremony of the JEC protocol on Thursday and return to Turkey on Friday.
