Thailand's Hua Hin Int'l Jazz 2019 set June 7-8

BANGKOK, June 5 (TNA) - The state-run Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in cooperation with Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, will organize the "Hua Hin International Jazz 2019" along the Hua Hin Beach, the 15th annual event of its kind, during June 7-8. TAT Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications Tanes Petsuwan announced the world-class music festival of the upper southern Thai province in Bangkok on June 4, aimed to promote Hua Hin seaside resort area in the province to become a world "Jazz City" and to boost the local tourism. Tanes told journalists that more than 500 international Jazz artists will take part in the Hua Hin International Jazz 2019 later this week, including the "King of Samba", a Brazilian music and dance-styled team, Rubem Farias, a Brazilian bass player and Deborah Brown, a Jazz vocalist, together with the "New York Round Midnight" and the "Beets Brothers", big bands from Holland, all are leading world Jazz musicians. "Thais and international visitors are welcome to the two-day "Hua Hin International Jazz 2019", where they will enjoy more than 50 Jazz music concerts to be organized on two big stages along the Hua Hin Beach", the TAT deputy governor said. According to the TAT deputy governor, the annual Hua Hin International Jazz Festival has become not only part of Thailand's tourism promotional campaign, but also part of the world's music festivals, in which international Jazz artists and tourists are keen to join.
