HM King participates in extraordinary Gulf Summit

Manama, May 30 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, today alongside leaders and heads of delegations of Gulf countries participated in the extraordinary Gulf Summit held at Al Safa Royal Palace in Makkah under the chairmanship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Kings Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Kings Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud delivered a keynote speech, in which he highlighted the challenges targeting security and stability of the region, the Iranian interference in the internal affairs of the GCC countries, Iran's development of its nuclear and ballistic missile programmes and its support for terrorism that threaten the regional security and stability. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques pointed out the Saudi keenness to bring peace, stability and prosperity to the people of the region, as well as the Iranian people, stressing supporting all efforts to maintain the region’s security and stability. He called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to stop the Iranian practices that menace the international peace and security.
