Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The First Lady of the People’s Republic of China Peng Liyuan has donated CNY100,000 to the humanitarian project, ‘Mongolia without Tuberculosis’, initiated by Miss E.Enkhriimaa. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the PRC to Mongolia Xing Haiming presented the donation to the ‘Enkhrii Erdene’ fund in the framework of the project, ‘Together against Tuberculosis - Mongolia-China Friendship’, today on February 27.
She had sent a letter requesting the First Lady of the PRC, World Health Organization goodwill ambassador Peng Liyuan to share her experience in the successful implementation of projects. In her reply, the First Lady expressed that she will give support to the project against tuberculosis initiated by Miss E.Enkhriimaa.

So far, in the frameworks of the operations of the ‘Enkhrii Erdene’ fund, she has organized the public fundraising campaign, ‘100+ tugrug’, of which donations were used for necessary vitamins and supplements for liver support for 2,500 patients as well as a drawing contest under the theme, ‘Family without Tuberculosis’, among students and displaying their works as exhibition series. Teaming up with other Mongolian well-known beauty pageant participants, Miss E.Enkhriimaa has also done the infomercial, ‘For Mongolia without Tuberculosis’, to raise public awareness.
