Yemen, donors to hold meeting soon

SANA'A, March 23 (Saba) - A meeting is to be held here on Wednesday between Yemeni government and donors to be chaired by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul Karim al-Arhabi.

Head of International Aid Coordination Unit in Ministry of Planning Nabil Shiban
told Saba that the meeting would be devoted for reviewing the underway preparations
for holding an enlarged Deliberation Meeting between the government and donors on
April 5th to follow up the implementation of London Conference's outcomes.

Shiban pointed out that the meeting will discuss the Mid term review for the third
five-year plan and upgraded reform package for 2009-2010 which are to be on the
table of the enlarged meeting between the government and donors.

The enlarged meeting between the government and donors is to fulfill the two-side
commitment to hold regular meetings for review and assess the achievements since the
London Donor Conference held in November 2006.
