Security strategy reduces crime rates

Manama, Dec.29 (BNA): Director-General of Media and Security Culture, Brigadier Mohammed Bin Daina asserted to Al Amn Radio Show that the reduction in crime rates in 2018 reflects the success of the security strategy, which was launched by Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. He highlighted that many directorates of the ministry had reached excellence in job performance by providing high-quality services that meet people’s satisfaction. He revealed that the police media plans for next year through qualified and trained media personnel and the promotion of community partnership, in order to enhance security awareness and general safety. He hailed the professionalism in providing security services under the follow up of the Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan. He highlighted the role of the police media in the current year through various statistics, including the releasing of half a million publications and more than 2000 press releases.
