Increasing Somali displacement to Yemeni coastlines

SANA'A, March 21, (Saba) -Yemeni coastlines received around 62
Somali refuges, including 9 women in which about 31 refugees,
arrived at Broom in area in Hadramout governorate while 31 at Taiz
coastline, the media center of Interior Ministry reported on
Thursday.

Security authorities said that the refugees have been prepared to be
moved to the main camp for refugees Kharaz in Lahj governorate.

On the other hand, Kharaz camp has received 153 expatriates
including 44 women and 3 children in which the UN High Commissioner
for Refugees (UNHCR) have sent about 104 in Shabwa province and 49
in Taiz province .

Worth mentioning, Yemen faces many economic problems from the
increased of refugees displacement from the African Horn to Yemen
coastlines.
