GAI to organize symposium in Netherlands over investments in Yemen
SANA'A, March 21 (Saba)- General Authority for Investment GAI is
organizing in Lehi city of Netherlands a symposium over investments
in Yemen entitled " Trade and Investment" in cooperation with the
Yemeni embassy in Netherlands for period 24th to 25th March.
The GAI chairman Saleh al-Atar told Saba that the symposium aims at
enlightening Dutch businessmen about opportunities of investment in
Yemen as well as holding bilateral talks between Yemeni and Dutch
investors to discuss possibilities of setting up joint projects in
Yemen in different fields.
Al-Atar said that the representatives of ministries of agriculture
and tourism, authority of the minerals wealth and Yemeni corporation
for oil and gas will participate in the symposium in addition to
Yemeni businessmen.
He made it clear that the event comes within memorandum of
understanding singed between Yemen and Netherlands in 2004 to
encourage Dutch investors to do joint ventures with their Yemeni
counterparts.
