Bahrain University students organize 1st Global City activity

Manama, Dec. 1 (BNA): President of University of Bahrain, Dr. Riyadh Yusuf Hamza, today opened the first Global City organized by the university students in the presence of Ambassador Thanis Na Songkhla of Thailand to Bahrain and Dean of the College of Arts, Dr Abdulaziz Bulaila. The activity aims to introduce foods, religions, music, languages and folk costumes of six countries, including China, France, Japan, India, Turkey and Thailand. It also targets developing the students’ knowledge to turn their creative ideas into tangible projects using theories and scientific tools they have studied in their major in international relations. The participating students extended thanks to the embassies for cooperation and providing them with information and tools that assisted in the success of their projects.
