Bahrain-Tunisia ties commended

Manama, Dec. 19 (BNA): Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf today received Tunisia’s Minister of Equipment, Housing and Land Management, Nour al-Din al-Salmi, on the side-lines of his visit the Kingdom to participate in the 5th Arab Housing Conference. The two sides explored activation of the agreement signed between the two countries to exchange expertise in various fields, especially sanitary engineering and benefiting from the Tunisian expertise in this regard. Khalaf commended the fraternal ties between the two countries and peoples. He reviewed the ministry’s various sectors and infrastructure projects currently underway. The Tunisian minister commended the strong ties between the two peoples, voiced his appreciation of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning for its efforts in infrastructure development and praised the Kingdom of Bahrain’s progress and prosperity. Ambassador of Tunisia to Bahrain, Mohammad Bin Yusuf, Municipalities Affairs Undersecretary Dr. Nabil Abulfateh, and Works Affairs Undersecretary Ahmed Al Khayyat were also present.
