Exposition on manufacturing, electronics to take place in May

Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnamese manufacturing and electronic businesses will have a chance
to have a close view of latest technologies in their fields as 450 businesses from
20 countries and territories plan to show their stuff at an exhibition in Hanoi
from May 28-30.

At a press briefing on the Vietnam Manufacturing Expo and NEPCON Vietnam 2009 held
in Hanoi on May 19, Nichapa Yoswee, Managing Director of Reed Tradex - the
organiser of the event, noted the marked growth of Vietnam's manufacturing
industry over the recent past, saying that local businesses should not miss this
excellent chance to update on latest developments in the industries.

Meanwhile, Prasert Thammanoonkul, President of the Thai Subcontracting Promotion
Association, described the event as a good opportunity for Thai businesses
approach Vietnamese customers, as the Vietnamese market is now the focus of
attention.

The Vietnam Manufacturing Expo and NEPCON Vietnam 2009 will introduce 1,000
products of the plastic, rubber, mould and car parts production, assembling and
automation, and electronic industries.
