UK Citizen awarded with Mayor’s gratitude

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. UK citizen Jacqueline Preis was awarded with the certification of the Ulaanbaatar city Mayor’s gratitude for giving help to Mongolian children. To help the children in need that are living in the 7 districts of Ulaanbaatar, especially Songinokhairkhan district, Mrs. Jacqueline Preis has been making fundraising and sending money through the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation for 18 years. With this, she helped a total of over 100 children with regular monthly financial aids, helping each child for 10 years in average. About 1,000 children are also provided with warm clothes for winter every year through her donation. Moreover, she helps children with rare diseases by making contact with foreign hospitals and paying for their travel expenses as well as finding the necessary vitamins, medicine and ointments and sending them to the children who need it. Thus, in recognition of her humanitarian acts, the Ulaanbaatar city Mayor S.Batbold sent his “Gratitude”, which was presented by Deputy Governor of the Capital City D.Enkhtur and Head of the Authority for Family, Child and Youth Development U.Gan-Ulzii.
