Up 20 ADFD-funded projects in Yemen

ABU DHABI, March 18 (Saba) - The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development
(ADFD) has implemented 21 developmental projects in Yemen at a total
cost of AED 1.3 billion, Acting Director General of ADFD Mohammed
Saif al-Suwaidi said.

During a meeting gathered Minister of Planning and International
Cooperation Abdul Karim al-Arhabi and al-Suwaidi here on Wednesday,
the two officials discussed means of strengthening the joint
cooperation between Yemen and the fund.

Furthermore, the meeting dealt with subjects related to the fund's
current and future developmental projects in Yemen.

According to al-Suwaidi, the ADFD is financing nine developmental
projects within the pledges of the London Donors conference at a
cost of $500 million for supporting the Yemeni economy through
financing a number of developmental projects.
