Blindness Association spends 19 billion VND on job generation

Khanh Hoa (VNA) - The Vietnam Blind Association (VBA) will spend around 19 billion
VND on generating jobs for about 5,000 members this year, said its President Dao
Soat.

At a VBA conference held in central Khanh Hoa province on March 17, Soat said his
association will continue maintaining the operation of handicraft production
establishments and massage services, improving the quality of its handicraft
products and opening more office stationery shops.

The association's businesses are expected to gross 45 billion VND this year, he
also said.

During the year, VBA will open 19 vocational training classes nationwide and two
training courses for capital managers and vocational training staff.

VBA now has nearly 290 services, production and business establishments nationwide
which brought in more than 41 billion VND and created stable jobs for almost 4,000
