Two tanks for oil reserves, worth YR 1,1 billion, to be established

SHABWA, March, 17 (Saba)- Governor of Shabwa Ali al-Ahmadi along
with the Executive Director of the Yemeni Oil Company Omer al-Arhabi
laid on Tuesday the foundation stone for storing oil derivatives
project with the cost of YR 1,1 billion.

The project includes constructing two tankers in Radhoum district
here on the area estimated at 700,000 square meters. Both of the
tanks can contain 8482 cubic meters of oil.

The governor and the executive director affirmed on constructing the
project according to technical specifications and on scheduled
period fixed for 16 months.

On the other hand, the two officials inspected achievements at the
stations for fuels the company is constructing on the area exceeds
10000 square meters and the cost of YR 200 million.

The storing capacity of the station is 500,000 liters of diesel and
200,000 of oil. The station includes service and marketing
facilities.
