Arab Bee-keepers conference opens in Abha
Abha, Saudi Arabia, March 17, SPA -- Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin
Abdulaziz, Governor of Asir Region patronized here today the Sixth
International Conference of the Federation of Arab Bee-keepers and an
Exhibition organized by the Saudi Society of Agricultural Sciences
(SSAS), King Saud University (KSU) in cooperation with the Federation
of Arab Bee-keepers.
The three-day conference now in progress at Abha Palace Hotel
includes 40 pavilions for a number of Arab companies. These companies
are displaying a number of prerequisites on the operations of honey-
bees breeding and its products and modern techniques in the field of
honey-bees breeding.
Chairman of the Organizing Committee as well as Chairman of the
Federation of Arab Bee-keepers Dr. Ahmed Kazem-Ghamdi said 500
delegates from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Yemen, Sudan, Libya, Tunisia,
Algeria, Morocco, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, Kuwait and
Oman are attending the conference.
