Czech charge d'affaires summoned to Foreign Ministry
Tehran, March 17, IRNA - The Czech charge d'affaires in Tehran, whose country holds periodic chair of European Union, was summoned to Foreign Ministry on Monday.
In the meeting, Deputy Director General of the Human and Women Rights
Department at Foreign Ministry informed the diplomat of Iran?s strong
protest at the EU?s double-standards.
He asked the Czech government to take a principled approach to menace
of terrorism and adopt stances, based on proper information, rather
than issuing baseless and hasty notices and statements.
He also urged the EU chair to avoid taking instrumental approach
towards human rights and relevant subjects.
The Czech diplomat thanked the Iranian party for providing him with
such information and promised to inform European officials of Iran's
protest.
