Xinhua, NINA Sign An Agreement To Strengthen Media And Press Cooperation

BAGHDAD (NINA) - The National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) and Xinhua News Agency signed an agreement today to strengthen media and press cooperation between the two agencies. The agreement was signed by NINA's director Shafiq al-Obeidi and Xinhua bureau chief Zhang Miao. The agreement included the exchange of news and press reports between the two agencies and coverage of the events of the two countries through the correspondents of the two agencies in addition to the exchange of technical information and updates and exchange visits between the press corps of the two agencies. The signing of the agreement, which is one year renewable, comes within the framework of the distinguished and strategic relations that combine Iraq and China and in an effort to enhance media and press cooperation between the two agencies./ End
