Saudi Arabia's first E-hypothetical university within five

Riyadh, March 16 , SPA -- Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqari, the
Minister of Higher Education, today disclosed that Saudi Arabia's
first electronic hypothetical university will be established within
the coming five years.

In a press statement following the opening ceremony of the First
International Conference on Electronic Education and Distance
Education, Al-Anqari said the Ministry is currently busy establishing
the infrastructure for electronic education and distance education to
pave the way for an electronic hypothetical university.

In response to a question, he denied reports that the Ministry has
suspended scholarships, confirming that the Ministry has put certain
conditions in this regard.
