Yemen, New Zealand to promote marine, atmosphere research ties

ADEN, March 16 (Saba) - Dean of the Marine Science and Resources
Research Centre Osama al-Mas discussed on Monday with director of
the New Zealand National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research
John Macway the possibility of expanding cooperation between the
institute and the center.

During the meeting, Al-Mas said the center is keen to promote its
cooperation with the New Zealand institute particularly in
conducting studies on atmosphere.

For his part, Mackway said the institute is ready to establish
developed technical relationship with the Yemen center of Marine
Science and Resources Research as well as sharing related
information and researches.

The meeting, which was also attended by the WB expert assigned to
conduct a study on the fish sector reorganization in Yemen, also
addressed the issue of the study on the reorganization of the fish
sector in Yemen in addition to associated technical developments.
