Yemen, Comoros talk on flights cooperation

SANA'A, March 16 (Saba) - Yemen and Comoros held talks here Monday
on the bilateral cooperation in the air transport, training and
technical support fields.

In the talks co-chaired by Yemenia Airways' Chairman of Board of
Directors Captain Abdullah al-Qadi and Comorian Vice President for
Transportation, Post and Telecommunications, Communication and
Tourism Idi Nadhoim, al-Qadi expressed the Yemenia's keenness to
provide a technical assistance for developing the civil aviation
infrastructure in Comoros, including training Comorian cadres.

For his part, the Comorian official assured the deep-rooted
bilateral ties between his country and Yemen, adding that his
country would like to avail Yemen's experiences in the civil
aviation field.

He pointed out that the Yemeni Airways is the national carrier of
Comoros and the Comorian community living in France.

Al-Qadi declared that his company will study a request offered by
Nadhoim to operate internal flights in Comoros.
